As some of you may have noticed, I haven't been updating as much as I used to. I'm not sure if it's because the novelty of my camera wore off, or because I haven't been traveling as much as I had in previous years. Maybe my creative juices just don't flow unless I am inspired... Who knows? Well the reason why I'm writing is because you also may have noticed that my pictures are looking a bit different lately, and it's got me pretty excited. I've started shooting some HDR images, thanks to my lovely boyfriend Peter, and I love it so much. I have found that sometimes a picture just lacks some oomph, and HDR imaging gives it the oomph it needs

As you may have noticed, due to the large influx of new images constantly coming out of me, I have finally gotten a camera! Yay! A Nikon D40, to be exact. (His name is Neville. :P) I am super excited about finally being able to express myself through photography whenever I want, and not have to wait to borrow someone else's camera, but at the same time am nervous about what this will mean in regards to the expectations for my photos. I hope at least someone is pleased with the outcome. On a side note, I'm going to France today for two weeks so expect a helluvalot of pictures when I come back.
